                                                    This Spring...    
               

MISSIONS:  Each month our church provides a ministry opportunity where you can
get your hands dirty helping those in need.  We strive to reach out to the poor, the homeless,
 the sick, the prisoner.  There is a table in the Lobby where you can sign up for this month's
 mission project.  Habitat for Humanity, Soup Kitchen, sheltering homeless families,
and Compassion International are just a few examples. Here's what's coming up next !

     

*      January         Homeless Family Project
We will have three homeless families living in our church for the month
of January.   By helping to make meals, acting as an overnight host, you
can help us create a home for these needy families.  For more information,

*       Saturday February 2nd           Habitat for Humanity
Spend a Saturday helping to build a home for a needy family in Norristown

*      Feb 3  to Feb 17th  Mission Trip to Ethiopia
  Help build a kitchen for a native seminary during a third world experience
 Cost $2000
Sign up deadline:  December 9th

     Medical Mission Trip to Costa Rica & Nicaragua

One of our own, Joanie Brumbaugh recently returned from her medical mission trip.  Church members donated over 300 pounds of medical supplies which Joanie and her team were able to use to help the poorest of the poor in these nations.   The vast majority of the children Joanie worked with had parasites of some sort.

  • The Prisoner: Thanks to all the men who helped deliver 3200 Christmas presents to inmates at Graterford Prison in December!
     

  •   The Homeless:  Thanks to everyone who acted as hosts and provided meals and baby sitting to the two homeless families that lived in our church during January!
